Prizemljitev / Grounding

– 19. stoletje). Več o njem si lahko preberete tule: klik

I love the time when I can walk barefoot. I feel more connected and more »alive« at that time. And that must have something to do with feeling – GROUNDED -. Walking barefoot is the most »powerful tool« to be more grounded in your body. Due to colder weather in the winter time that becomes a bit more challenging, I mean – freezing.

The feeling of being ungrounded can be seen when we can’t relax at all, when our awareness is all over the place, when we are unstable.

So in the winter time you can increase it with the help of yoga, massages (especially foot massage, which is also easy to do by yourself), with the touch, and those of you who don’t have a problem to visualize things or feelings in front of your eyes – you can also visualize that you are walking on a freshly cut grass.

In a much warmer time of the year, you already know what to do – walk barefoot as much as possible. To make the energy start flowing – there are a lot of points (so called meridians) that we have on our feet and are connected with our organs and censors in the brain. When we walk barefoot – we stimulate these points, hence everything that is connected with them. Barefoot walking is also good for our posture. And it also strengthens the senses throught the feet.

Exactly with that purpose – flow of the energy, grounding, stimulating the points in the feet, better posture and etc,… Arnold Rikli (18. – 19th century) Swiss healer took his patiens to barefoot walks. If you wanna know more about Rikli and his healing project, click here
